Featured Member - Rachel Anderson
Rachel is the owner and director of Anderson Financial Group, a financial planning business she founded with her husband in 2011. After working in the industry for several years, Rachel felt the typical ‘adviser-client relationship’ she was witnessing could hardly be classified as a ‘relationship’ at all. She realised the only way the necessary changes were going to be implemented was to go out and do it herself – and Anderson Financial Group was born!
Rachel places a lot of importance on the professional side of things, such as helping others take advantage of their superannuation and ensuring they and their families are protected financially. However, she places just as much emphasis on the personal side of things, and strives to make every client feel like they’re her only client. In fact, Rachel’s goal is to take such great care of her clients that they refer her to everyone they know!.

Much like every other marketing tool, trade shows can absolutely be effective but they need just as much planning, love and attention as any other marketing tactic. If they are worth doing, they are worth doing properly! You can’t expect to rock up unprepared to a trade show expecting to set the world alight. Here are a few tips to think about....
I would say that it is the great network of wonderful business minded women and the honour of being recognised by my peers as a successful business woman on two occasion when winning the Small Business Woman of the Year award in 2007 and the Corporate Business Woman of the Year in 2010
