Through Business Easy, existing and potential businesses owners can finally access simple, easy-to-understand information about key regulatory requirements. Business Easy is funded by AusIndustry and is a united Council initiative by SunROC on behalf of all 3 Sunshine Coast Councils: Maroochy, Caloundra and Noosa. Sunshine Coast Global Illumination

Friday, October 10, 2008

YOU ARE INVITED: Sunshine Coast Global Illumination

Last October, the Sunshine Coast joined many, many communities around the world, lighting in pink the Point Cartwright lighthouse as part of the Estee Lauder Companies Global Illumination event.

To coincide with the “pinking” of the lighthouse, the Sunshine Coast committee of the National Breast Cancer Foundation hosted a cocktail party at the Mooloolaba Surf Club. More than 120 guests enjoyed a night of entertainment, food, friendship and fundraising.  In fact, the night alone raised more than $10,000 for funding into breast cancer research in Australia.

This year, the Point Cartwright lighthouse will again be lit up in pink – on Friday and Saturday, October 10 and 11.  The committee (Jennifer Reginato, Marcia Wilson, Adrienne Smith, May Carson and Nikki Parkinson) will this year host a “Hint of Pink” cocktail party at the Mooloolaba Surf Club’s function room on Friday, October 10.

Tickets are $85 each, which includes canapés, champagne, beer, wine and entertainment.  There will also be raffles and auction items available on the night.  Reserve your spot now!
