SCBWN June AGM Breakfast with Ted O’Brien MP

Surfair Beach Hotel, 923 David Low Way, Marcoola

Tuesday, 8th June | 6:45 am - 8:30 am

Incorporating our 2021 AGM, on Tuesday June 8th we are joined for breakfast by special guest, Ted O’Brien MP – Federal Member for Fairfax.

Ted entered parliament with over 20 years’ experience in business and a track record as a community leader. He strongly believes that the key to the Sunshine Coast’s future is strong and sensible economic growth that protects and leverages the region’s strengths!

Ted is committed to the Sunshine Coast region and his vision is to see it become “the healthiest place on earth”. He cares deeply about civil society and helping individuals and communities realise their potential by taking control of their own future.

Ted is also an extremely family-orientated person, living in Buderim with his wife Sophia, their daughter, Alexandra, and young son, Henry.

The Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network is honoured to have Ted discuss with us how the 2021-22 Federal Budget relates to opportunities on the Sunshine Coast for businesses and individuals.

During the morning, Ted will focus on budget wins for women, business, families and aged-care reform. As the Prime Minister’s representative for South-East Queensland’s bid for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Ted will also share his vision on what this could deliver for our region.

As a guest of our AGM, you will have the chance to ask Ted questions and enjoy a table facilitated discussion on what the budget means to you and what you would like to see delivered for our growing region.

Ted will also be available after the event for discussion and photo opportunities.

Event bookings close and dietary requirements due Tuesday, 1st June.
