Meet the Female Makers - Cash Flow Workshop with Chelsea Ford + SCWBN Soiree

Join us for an inspiring afternoon and evening celebrating the incredible female makers in our region! This special event, hosted in collaboration with The Sunshine Coast Women's Business Network, Food and Agricultural Network (FAN) and Manufacturing Excellence Forum (MEF), brings together powerhouse women in business for an afternoon of learning and an evening of networking. What an opportunity to collaborate and explore opportunities to work with other local businesses!

PLEASE NOTE: You can either attend both the Cash Flow Workshop and Soiree OR Soiree only. Simply select your preferred ticket when registering.

2:00-5:15 pm – Cash Flow Workshop with Chelsea Ford

Kick off the afternoon with a workshop led by Chelsea Ford – business mentor and founder of Females in Food. Chelsea will share her expert insights on managing cash flow and setting up your business for financial success. Expect practical tips, real-world advice, and strategies to take control of your finances and fuel business growth.

5:30-7:30 pm – SCWBN Soiree + Queensland’s Sunshine Pantry Pop-Up

In the evening, the SCWBN Soiree will feature a stunning showcase of 10 incredible female producers in a Queensland’s Sunshine Pantry pop-up.

Heidi WalkerWalkers Seafood - Heidi is the Managing Director of Walker Seafoods Australia and a member of Tuna Australia, recently received the prestigious MSC Sustainable Fishing Hero Award at the 2025 Sustainable Seafood Awards Australia – the first woman to receive this honour. Her leadership in sustainable tuna fishing has set a benchmark in the industry.

Kylie FarrellyCanefields Distilling - Kylie is the part owner and founder of Canefields Distillery, Queensland's first single estate sugarcane farm and sugarcane juice rum distillery, located on the Sunshine Coast. Alongside distilling, she juggles life as a mum, a full-time job as a practice manager, and running a hobby farm - all while crafting new products like her upcoming Mandarin Gin made with homegrown organic mandarins.

Jade King - Green Valley Fingerlimes - Jade is a passionate fingerlime producer based on the Sunshine Coast and Chair of the Australian Native Fingerlime Alliance (ANFA). A 2022 Australian Nuffield Scholar, Jade brings a wealth of knowledge from her global research into fingerlime production, alongside her work as an independent agronomist and Head of Agriculture at a local college.
