The Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network was founded to support, inspire, mentor and educate women throughout their business endeavours.
We are proud of our Network’s growth and fundraising efforts that now enable us to provide some financial support to women to achieve their personal and professional goals through our new Empower Program. First launched at our 2022 Christmas Breakfast, the Empower Program was created in collaboration with our SCBWN committee and developed by Kaitlyn Akers, to expand on our community give back program.
With up to 10 bursaries of $250 each to be given each year, the Empower Program aims to support those within the Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network who may be looking to undertake a course or initiative to further develop their skills but need financial aid to do so.
Bursary funds may be put towards a professional development course, accredited training, an online course or private business coaching. For those who aren’t yet a SCBWN member, they may apply for a bursary to cover their SCBWN membership fees for a year.
Entries open on the 13th of December 2022 and close on the 31st of January, 2023 with the successful bursary recipients to be announced at our 2023 International Women’s Day event.
To determine if you’re eligible for the SCBWN Empower Program, please carefully read the information provided on this page and on the application link, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
